Red cross if i try to rewind live tv wooshbuild infinity

Hi folks just reflashed my zgemma h7s with Woosh infinity. This always used to work but not now.
If I rewind live tv I get a red cross top left corner of tv picture. But if I pause then it will let me rewind.

Been through setup timeshift settings cant see anything obvious to me, any of you good guys got any ideas please.

Sounds like timeshift is not set up

make sure your usb stick is mounted on /media/hdd (red button -> Plugins -> Mount Manager)

If it is, exit back to tv picture and then check timeshift settings, menu -> Setup -> Recordings & Timesshift -> Timeshift settings

Many thanks for the reply, I have an internal hard disk, can this be used for time shift or does it have to be USB? Just checked and USB is set on Mount /media/hdd type ext r/w
Also strangely I started to record something pressing red record button on remote randomly, then stopped the recording, then tried timeshift rewind again and now it works

yes it can be used, make sure it is mounted as stated above and then check timeshift settings
