I'm a fan of Maxi Priest, Gregory Issac and Bob Marley.

I like reggae, used to listen to Yellowman, Black Uhuru, Sly & Robbie plus others in my younger days.
Still get the chance to listen, but not as often as I used to. ROFL

There's a really good youtube DJ who mixes mainstream pop songs with a reggae twist. Reggaesta I think his channel is called. I currently have a few of his mixes playing on loop for my commute.

Bob Marley and Lucky Dube. If I remember right as well both shot and although it didn't kill Marley I'm sure lucky dube was shot and killed in his native South Africa during a carjack.
