Rollators for the elderly and transporting them

I has got to the stage of life i needed rollators in moving around the house upstairs and downstairs and out and about. I was lucky to get a second hand one heavy duty and had it out at the doctors and felt more stable using it and to sit on it. Getting up from it was nice.

Now my issue is lifting it in and out of car it tries to open up on me and Wondered if any straps are out there to hold it closed while lifting it into a car.

Rollator Closure Strap for Secure Storage and Transport

Thinking someone on here might have ideas ?

I have a bungee chord to try tomorrow to see if suitable as might need to be double wrapped.

I've read reviews of that Amazon link you posted & there's one describing exactly what you've said, - see image
Also, there's a lot of bad reviews on this Rollator about the wheels falling off, so if this is the one you have then just be careful.

Ha ha only ordered a roll of 30mm velcro and cut to size.
Interesting place ment of strap in the photo .
Yes i was aware of some issues on wheels and already had to service and modify a few things.
Easy to get around in and very comfy to sit in a coffee shop and to get up from with stronger handles.
Well blessed in only paying 30 Euro and feel its better support for me..
Cheers M8

Just went back on Amazon and ordered a shoulder strap and delivered tomorrow and looks easier to fasten and less than 5 quid

Far too long but got a shoulder strap to hold it closed as must take rollator out of car and fit it on it.
These are for securing things for transport so don't tighten them too much as they will bend aluminium very easily. But they will do the job nice and cheaply.
