The UK city of Liverpool played host to a rather strange piece of artwork during the 2008 Capital of Culture

Called "Turning The Place Over" by Richard Wilson, it consists of a rotating wall that turns 360º.

Cut in the wall of an old Yates Wine Lodge, the installation sits opposite one of the city's train stations and is cost almost $900,000 - that's $50,000 for each month of its existence.

Described as “the most daring piece of public art ever commissioned in the UK”, it was seen as the jewel in the crown of the 2008 public art programme.

What do you think of it?
