hi new to this site and satellite. I have a starview hd combo with lan. I have lost all channels that the balloon guy was giving me ;) I decided to go the satellite route, bought a dish and I have freesat :) but my question is, and Im sorry if it has been asked before as I am new to this site, I have noticed a lot of channels eg sky are scrambled :gah: , I would like to know what exactly is card sharing, I gather they mean a sky card, could you please explain how and what you have to do.
Is there any firmware out there that will get round the scrambled issue for satellite ?
Also I noticed on one thread that you can put a softcam key and unlock some more satellites, I tried to download the rar file but techkings wouldnt let me :smoke rings: I wasnt sure if the rar was for the lan version or not.
Is this so you can open more satellites for channels.
