This is a bit of a strange question but can you connect to a scart socket using the av connecters at the back of the Zgemma H.2S cause a family member doesnt have a HDMI socket on there tv? Or will they need an upgrade on there tv?

Thanks in advance

I dont think theres a scart lead, but it has the red, yellow and white plugs which is virtually the same as a scart, and would then need to connect to the tv via a scart plug on the other side of the lead.

Thats what i thought too, i know its a long shot but im sure someones tried or someone they know has had this problem? Thanks anyway

yeah its possible, i had my rf out setup via same method

Yea you can set it In the menu to scart (even it doesn't have one, but that what it is call on the box)

I set one up this way for someone but the picture quality was really poor compared to the HDMI socket.

Menu, setup, video, basic settings and change video output to scart.

Maplin SCART to Triple Phono Composite Cable 10m | Maplin
this should work ok

Be careful with this.
The Scart standard has separate sets of pins (input and output) for the composite video and audio left/right channels - i.e. the Yellow/White/Red sockets and plugs.
This lead goes "the wrong way" - I can't see that it's bi-directional or switchable.
OP needs to check it'll work "Triple phono to Scart".
