Scrambled channels, even after following Instructions

hi i brought a star view 7 hd combo + i have dowloaded and installed everything people have told me to but still every channel is scrammbled i am totally lost so any comments would be greatly recieved. thank you.
 
Does it say connected in the info bar?

Check your ethernet connector on the box.

Did you select the correct network symbol rate? i.e 6.887 for ntl/pure and 6.952 for exCW & TW?
 
Ethernet connector? It goes straight in the box I do think this is where the problem is as my modem doesn't even flash. Should it?
 
So I've checked the board rate for scanning that was fine. It's picked up the channels it's just there's a dolla sign by the sides and says it's locked then I get scrambled channel flash every so often. Can people tell me do you set the network part of the box? I tried rebooting my modem but no joy there neither. Think the box is fine I just can't get it to read to the modem??
 
hello ther sounds like you avnt selected ustream in the network settings

Added after 41 minutes:

try menu accesory network ok down to csnet ok if it says off on top line go left or right and pick ustream then exit box this will make ur money channells work give afew mins

Hi mark I can't see that csnet option un my network part I have type,network,server,homestreamserver,homeplus. But the last 2 are only for typing in. I have heard this before but don't no how to find it. Any ideas?
 
sorry mate i had to go to work,just under the homeplus is csnet press ok then ur top line will say off go left or right until ustream is showing up exit the box ,if that is not working could you private message me with ur number and we,ll go thru the menu 1step at time to try and get ure box to work

Added after 22 minutes:

hello again,in ur accessory what is it showing on the right side usb,common interface,not inserted,key edit,network...... here could lie ur problem as if u dont av key edit listed you will not see csnet in ur network.simply highlight accessory type in 8989 then key edit will appear go across to it and press ok make sure key edit is blank reset key data is also blank ucas should show On ,Ucas autoroll should show On...nowpress exit once and youll be back in accesory menu go down to network press ok now hopefully cs Net is ther go down to it press ok top line is hightlighted go left or right and pick ustream then exit box good luck
