Detectives have been searching for Paden, 56, since he left an address in Blackpool. Lancashire police are appealing for information on his whereabouts.
Paden's convictions for sex offences date back to 1974, and include rape, indecent assault on a child, and assault with intent to rape.
He is banned from associating with children unless they are accompanied by an adult.
