Seat Leon torx

I’m trying to change my door locks on my 2010 Leon. But there is some weird torx bit holding the lock in place

It looks like a torx but has 12 or 15 spines on it

Anyone have an idea of the size, name or anything

I’m sure it the same as a vw lock

Thanks for the help

No idea lol
I ordered a wee multi pack of different size see how it goes

Took me over 2hours get the door back together

The window rails attach through the door card making it very hard to work at it

turned out it was a single tool and was too small

and now my paypal is under review and i cant buy anything to getting it sorted lol

final got this job fixed, after how many months
total fix for the two doors, £40 for 2 locks front and rear
£5 for the torx bit set

so i happy enough
i messed up one of the torx screws proper bad, had to use vice grips to get it out

but a easy enough job to do, say 30mins per door, when you know what you are doing

Sounds like you bought second hand and wont last long, and done a window reg on 2004 and doorskin is removed to get access to window reg and doorlock if needed.

if i get a couple years il be happy
new seat part, i wouldnt even look at
new third party can be just as bad or worse than a original used part
been burned with them before

Aye customer bought a new lock on ebay for 50 quid and wanted me to fit it and i did, when you locked car it opened it again as lock was faulty lol,boy did he regret it as fitting and removing cost him lol
