Set Location to Borders on V9s

Hello People

Does anyone know where i would change the location on the V9s to Border or Northeast etc so that i get the relevant ITV for my area? I've looked in the settings but i'm unable to find it.

you would need to download\configure the channel list to suit your area, its not something as easy as changing a setting on the box

EDIT - I've created the attached updated channel list for your area if you want to give it a go - View attachment TP_PROG.dbs

reading up on the v9s boxes it looks like you can't update via usb and the file i've supplied above, its network channel list updates only, in which case you will struggle to get the regions in 101,103 etc but they will be available from about 1000 upwards

Another daft question. Where do i go to update the channels from a usb stick? New to all this my apologies

I've just seen your most recent post. Do i do the update via Network?

not got one of these box`s but seen somewhere else on the forum it was mentioned the option to update channels is in network update

The V9S uses a .bin format so the TP prog.dbs file won't work.At the moment there is no support for this box except download by network from the box

V9S uses a .bin with a file size of 440KB as it named as ChannelList.bin but the older openbox V8S use a .dbs with a file size of 1.00MB as it named as TP_PROG.dbs.

I did try to save as ChannelList.bin from TP_Prog.dbs overwrite but it still won't work because the V9S need no more than 440KB file size, that's the big problem.
