setting up a Vonets network

Hi All

I am trying to set up a home wireless network using a vonets wf fi bridge. I use a wireless dongle to access wireless internet. I have set up an adhoc network on the same computer. When I try to configure the vonets, using supplied software on stage 1 of setup procedure , I get Mac address 00-17-13-14-08-77 when I then go to stage 2 of setup no SSID is identified !

The final idea is to transfer the vonets to my sat decoder and then connect wirelessly to my laptop internet connection. ie satdecoder connets via vonets wirelessly to adhoc network connection on my laptop and my laptop then connects to internet via usb wireless dongle

Can anybody help me please

Thanks Dave

Don't know how to set up your vonets connection but wireless internet dongles tend to
drop the signal with sat boxes so you will probably get glitchy viewing.I found 3 network was the best.

I have used one of these in the past in a caravan but results weren't good to be honest.
It maybe better when 4G is rolled out properly.

USB internet dongle straight into router, ethernet from router into sat box.

As long as you have the correct firmware for your internet dongle loaded onto your router the box connects
automatically, they have firmware for virtually every network and type of dongle
to match the firmware to your setup.

The routers are wireless too so you should be able to pick it up with your laptop.
