Cable Shall I ZGEMMA-STAR H1 or ZGEMMA-STAR H2

Hi,

I am looking to buy a ZGEMMA to use with cable.
however I am not sure to buy the ZGEMMA-STAR H1 or ZGEMMA-STAR H2.

What do you guys recommend?

I'm at the same stage Bootsboy...think I need to buy the H1 as I have cable with Virgin. It's a twin tuner so can use both cable or satellite I believe

I have both and not noticed a difference. I've been told the tuner in the H2 is better

Been looking at the h2 myself. Where is best to get "gift" and are they easy to setup?

If you use a back up of a image will save you a lot of time Then just set up cable side all info is available on the site and help if needed

O.k ta. Been looking at the plug and play ones with 24 months on auction site. Is this not recommended? most seem to have good reviews and would save me a lot of hassle.

Right Tich, Thanks for all your post allways usefull, I got a h1 last week to take back to Germany next week. I,ve noticed your earlier post about your in laws having a box in Germany. Would they have the same gift as you mention here! any gift help may be usefull in the coming weeks.

Yes mate they use same gift as here if you want German Sky Italy Sky ect Then you will need a muli sat gift and either a motorised dish or a dish pointing at 13E as well

Cheers, Will have to work out how to get a gift sorted out in the week, Have to admitt German Sky don`t take the piss as back home with their football, 20 quid a month gets you every BL game and as much PL and CL games as back home.

I have a zgemma S2 everything works fine apart from Sly Sports 1 HD totally unwatchable Tune Failed the SNR goes from 98% down to 0% then back up.Just had vermin media round renewing the outside line so it's nothing to do with that side of things as i would expect to have this problem with other channels.There is no reason why it only effects this one channel? Any advice would be much appreciated thank you
