Guide Shield external storage

I've got an 128GB SD card on the external storage and just assumed it was automatically using it for everything and wondering why i kept getting a storage runner low message whilst streaming lol. Anyway, here's a short guide for dummies like myself :)

Settings/ device preferences/ about/ build (keep clicking build until it says your a developer)

Settings/ device preferences/ developer options/ apps/ force allow apps on external (on)

Settings/ apps/ see all apps/ (select the apps one by one) storage used/ (then you can select to move it to the external storage card. :)

I used to have a usb stick in mine, I started getting problems with YouTube a nd iPlayer, I tried everything and posted various threads on here.
Anyway for some reason I did a factory reset and tried all the problem apps without HDD and all were perfect! So to rule it I put the drive back in and allowed the apps and the problems came back!
So the fix for me was bin the hdd

If you haven't got a later type sd card yor shield won't recognize it, I had the same problem until i realized and updated the card

Finally managed to get it recording (Tivimate) longer than 1min lol. For some reason even though i was selecting the SDCard/ Download folder, it wasn't allowing access?
Here's another guide for us beginners :)

Settings/ Other/ Recording/ Recordings folder/ Select folder/ System picker/ (may need to press the back button?) Create New Folder/ (name?) (back button to lose the virtual keyboard) Ok/ Use This Folder/ Allow
