Should I buy a Netbook or Laptop?

I am thinking of getting a laptop, but am a bit confused by the wide variety and choice out there. First off, what is the difference between a Netbook and a Laptop?

And secondly, what model would you recommend, i really only want it for surfing the net in the evenings, and are there any good deals around at the moment?

If its just the web browsing your after and nothing complicated, then in this case a netbook will be grand. 👍

Not sure if there are any cheap deals going on at the moment though, but i wouldn't say that they will cost a fortune, there are some real cheap but decent ones out there. Hope this helps. :)

T as Dan says I think its entirely up to you in so far as what you want to use it for and how much you've got to spend, I have a laptop it cost 750 euro, Rachel bought a netbook uses it all the time for surfing the net and it cost 330 euro (nice neat and compact little thing) have used it myself on occasion :),
