Sideloading apps from sub providers - safe?

Apologies if this is a common newbie question. I scrolled through a large number pages but didn't see anything similar.

Most of the sub providers are asking me to install their own app for a trial. I'm a bit hesitant sideloading random apps. Is this the standard practice and is this safe?

Thank you.

Yes it is safe mate.........

A lot of providers use hardcoded apps to protect their server address so thats mostly the reason they want you to install their app.

Its safe to do so.
