have siptv (smartiptv) installed on my webos tv its a new tv so quad core my internet is not great but enough for sd/720 it’s 8/10mbps but for some reason on the bottom right hand corner when a stream loads my Mbps is dropping to below 5mbps (ncauto) player type and hovers about 2.5 to 5 Mbps this cause the streams to buffer I’m hard wired and have changed the Ethernet to no avail yet if I do a speed test on webos Browser it’s stable at 10constantley iv even tried the stream in the browser and it’s ok so the tv is getting the speed from the router just not the app iv tried HLSstreams but no different has enyone. Come across this ? Is it a fault in the app version
 
That is a very low speed.My supplier recommends minimum of 10.Do you have any webshields enabled on your internet service that could be effecting it.Have you updated your tv software.You could try removing the app and re installing.
 
No websafe on my router is a old Kcom one iv tried reinstalling it with no joy 10meg is ok for 720 sd 5mbps sub runs fine on mag in the other room as I say the tv is only a few months old no apps installed apart from siptv strange how the webos browser is pulling 10 yet the app is only pulling 5& drops to 2 and is up and down didn’t know if any has experienced this
 
I would call your ISP and complain about getting better speeds because the ones you are getting currently arnt doing the job, will most likely upgrade you for a small fee.
 
Unfortunately I live in hull & we only have 1isp service it’s pay £45 pm for this 10meg max or none shocking service considering what other parts of the country get but it is stable & have ran 720hd for a few years on this with no problem it’s not great but 10meg is ample for sd and 720 most uk streams are 25fps anyhow
