Sky Go on TV

Evening all,

not sure if this has been covered but is there any way of getting Sky TV via Sky Go on the TV and not just being able to use on Tablet, phone or laptop.

I live in a Grade 2 listed property and having a dish on is impossible, I had cable via zgemma but the international channels are at a minimum.

has anyone managed to get Sky Go on the tv?

No sky go wont work on the TV, this has been restricted by sly. Have tried it myself before.

Oh I get why they would restrict it aswell.

Only way I could find was to connect your laptop or whatever to TV with a hdmi cable.
A bit crude I know but if you are desperate for the odd game it would do.

Yes did think this but it’s too impractical lol

Bluestax should do it. It's an Android emulator for Windows.

Have you tried alternatives to dishes? You can get ones that fit on the outside wall which look nothing like satellite dishes.

Know it would work on Xbox one or PS4.

As far as I'm aware they are still supported mate. Also the Minix X8-H box has a HDMI Spoof option. I know that works with Sky Go too.

I agree use it time from time myself on the phone. There tends to be more issues than its worth.

I have a mini pc (cenovo) rigged up to my TV , skygo works perfectly as well as having a 40" pc with remote mouse and keyboard with feet up on the sofa ! Free skygo password from a mate to boot .

i have rigged my pc up with an hdmi splitter and the sky go now works perfect on my tv from pc, just need an account with all the channels now....
