Sky Magic eye problem

Hi all,
A friend of mine is convinced that sky have blocked the RF2 output on her sky box thus not allowing her to change her tv through the magic eye from another room. I think that it is not possible for them to disable it through the satellite dish. She rang them and they said that the magic eye is not allowed and in order to watch her tv in another room she would have to subscribe to multi room, has anyone come across this at all.

sky cant disable rf2 feature..... if all cables are connected correctly ensure the TV in the other room is tuned in accordingly to corresponding RF Channel output from skybox, default is normally 68, although you are better putting this somewhere below 60 that doesn't interfere with any of your local freeview signals. if you don't have an aerial connected then set RF channel to whatever you please. hope this helps

Hi, Sky can't disable the rf2 output via the dish, go into box settings & check that rf2 power is turned on, check back of box & make sure all cables are pushed in correctly, check your room link cable is in rf2 & not rf1, hope this helps.

Hi if its a sky hd box they dont have a rf output on them anymore. you need to buy and install a io link modulator to use a magic eye.
