Sky Q dish

Morning all
I have recently moved home and in my new house we did not have a sky dish.

I called sky who come a fit a new sky Q satellite dish.

The issue I am having is that it is not picking up quite a few of the channelsame. BT sport and sky sports to name a couple.

Any suggestions?

You will need to change your Sky Q lnb to a hybrid lnb which are about £35-45 on fleabay

You need a hybrid inb on the dish for skybox to work.

Do you know if there any boxes available to buy which will work directly off the sky q dish?

The VU+ Solo 4k will with the advanced tuner option but not cheap!

If you just had the Dish installed and are Not using Sky Q

you just need a standard Quad LNB, but if you have a sky Q Box installed you will require The Hybrid LNB - you should have advised sky that you were also using a standard freesat box upstairs
and you would have been supplied with hybrid when engineer installed dish

You just need a quad core lnb which is about 12 quid on eBay

using sky q it has a special lnb as posted above and wont work on other boxes,if not using their box then you could change the lnb.
