Skybox F3 No Signal / Scrambled Problem

I recently started getting a no signal error on 90% of the channels.

I have done a satellite search and loads of channels were found but they were too fast to see which ones.

This is the strange bit.

Once the search finishes the channel it is on will start playing eg. Sky Disney no problem. I then try and change channel and I get "No Signal" I then go back to Sky Disney and get "No Signal".

I have updated my channel list with AJ's and another one to try it.

One other thing was that when the channel was playing it was channel 1918 if i try and enter 1918 it says channel doesn't exist

The F3 has an independent psu which fails with time [new one about £14] but before you go to that you may find that a factory reset then deletion of all channels including favourites will help. After deleting then try installing latest channel list.

When you can view a channel - what snr is showing in left hand side of info bar ( should be around 77-94% )
its Been really windy past couple of days so dish may be just out of alignment, Had quite a few callouts for this problem past couple of days
Dish needs only to move 1/4 inch or so and signal strength will drop way down, so you may pick up a few channels on box but rest would be off,
channel scan would make no diff really, as would load up as normal unless dish had moved significantly - also check cable and make sure there is no water ingress
as this can also have similar effect, possibly pixilating as well - it could be that you have a faulty port on LNB ( intermittent power loss )

Thanks for your suggestions I have tried the reset, deleting the channels and all the different scan options, everything is the same.

I would replace the PSU this looks easy but my symptoms don't seem to point towards the power supply i have no power problems.

The picture on the channels I do get are perfect, i have also plugged the sat cable into an Ibox i have which works fine. I have also used the same CLine which works so it isn't that.
 
I have the same problem with my Skybox f5s all FTA's work and maybe 5% of the channels work. The rest are just scrambled. The line provider is fine as his line is multiroom and my other f3 box is fine. Therefore my feeling is that its something to do with the firmware of these devices that has changed in the past few weeks. Its been behaving badly for about a month now. I have upgraded to the Zgemma box now anyway but I would like to fix this issue as the skybox has been solid performer for the past two years. All of the above has been tried but no joy. The firmware for this box was last updated in 2014 so no chance for a more up to date one either. Not many options left.
