Skybox F3 Remote issues

Hi All,

I have had a Skybox for about 4 months and it has always had a slow and in some cases unresponsive remote also occasionally if I press the up arrow on the remote to change channel in Favorites then the sound is increased or it chooses a random number e.g 4. I tried contacting the seller and got another remote but still the same problem.

Is it worth getting a universal remote and if so which one or do you think the box/remote sensor itself is at fault?

i have the same problem with my f5 box and have just got a replacement remote and still a bit unresponsive

you can buy a remote extender eye from fleabay for about £3.60 but it uses up your usb port

i think its more of an issue with the box ir receiver than the remotes

I found my F5 remote had a pretty poor range also. I use a logitech multiple devices remote though which seems to work a treat. I'd recommend investing in one as it makes like a lot easier!
