Skybox F3 WiFi connection not working

I have inserted a skybox F3 dongle and i keep getting a timeout error.

Please can someone give me advice what the problem is?

Personally, i wouldnt use wifi with one of those boxes. you would be better connecting direct to the router. Failing that, invest in a pair of homeplugs.

The router is in my other room and i can't bring that to the room i want to use it at. Where can i get these homeplugs? Any links would be appreciated.

Not had a single problem with those. You just plug one into the mains, connect it via ethernet to your router. Then plug the other in near your box and connect to your box with the supplied ethernet cable.
