Skybox f5 only works with 1 hdmi cable and 1 tv

Hi Guys need some help to understand a peculiar fault.I have flashed a Skybox F5 for someone and everything works perfectly including lines etc.However the box only works with 1 particular HDMI cable and only with my year old LG tv.I have tried it on other Tvs with a different cable/same cable but nothing even through the Scart socket.Ihave 3 hd ports with 3 cables but can only get a picture with 1 particular cable
Not seen anything like this before.Tried factory reset etc Will not let me flash a new firmware,getting hardware mismatch error so I dont want to push it and brick it completely.Any ideas?

There is button on the remote to allow to switch between 720i 720p 1080i 1080p etc.. thinks its the button with tv on it..hope this helps..

Ive tried the vformat button no luck.As mentioned,same tv different cable nothing,use the other cable and picture comes on.
