Skybox f5s some channels no signal??

Hi guys most of my sky channels work fine but ive notice a few of them have no signal.Clubland tv,Heart tv,capital tv,Mti,Planet pop are amongst the few that have no signal.My satellite is sky uk 28A E28.2 lnb type is 9750-10600 and I have checked my lnb frequency which all seems fine.im using the latest aj list.Could anyone help or tell me whats wrong?Thanks mark.
 
is this the only box you have connected to the lnb? sometimes when you have another box it can cause a no signal problem, if so try turning it off then reboot box and see if the channels come back.
 
i've installed ajs new list and mine keeps freezing some stations say invalid especially sky sports 4 so did single manual scan and sky sports works fine now, SSN HQ was saying invalid , did same with that now working fine. Maybe it was a dodgy download happens sometime
 
A guy from works sky sports hd channels are down and heard a few others on facebook saying the same.

Are these boxes worth the constant mucking about with freezing etc..?

Its all subjective I guess.
I got an original non clone F5S box off Amazon for £46 and paid £25 for a reliable dependable 6 month line, so I can put up with few glitches as I go, but If Id paid £150+ or whatever off ebay for a box with an alleged year / 2 year (cough splutter) subscription, then Id be less than happy.

Are there better boxes ?
Sure, but I only use mine for the sport, and actually keep my $ky sub with the HD "entertainments" package.

When you say a few glitches what do you mean? Was it glitching once or twice a day,month,year?

Are your sky sports hd channels working?

To be fair i will mainly use it for the sports as well the only other channels i will be watching are freeview really
 
Thanks for your replys guys,im only using 1 box at the moment,ive just double checked all frequencies and they are the correct/latest ones for the channels that say no signal.Im beginning to think it may be my dish alignment or lnb??
 
try a manual scan on the frequency even if its the correct one then try them via the all st button on your remote the new stations should be the last ones on the list, checked mine and they are working noticed most of them are FTA stations
 
Hi,
The picture "pauses" or breaks up for about half a second maybe once an hour, with the sound carrying on perfectly, and maybe once or twice a day I get the scrambled sign for a second or so. Am I happy? Not really, but again, I gather a lot of that (apart from the scrambled sign) is to do with the dirt cheap F5s box.
