Skybox froze switched off/on now no channels

ive had my skybox f3 for 4 mounths and one day it froze so I switched it off and on again and it didn't come back on
so I left it switched on and it can on after 20 mins but not getting any signal to the box but everything is there on the screen you can switch over and it does everything like normal but not getting anything not even the free to air channels
can any one help????

Im getting a similar problem.
First thing i did is check my signal with a meter, i checked quite a few frequencies compared to the box.
the signal is fine. did a channel scan and have now found there seems to be a move in the channel frequencies.
i can get channels through the 'all sat' list instead of through favs
so if you are getting to signal on all after doing a new scan, its likely to be a dish/signal fault
 
Did u leave the firmware your box came with on it or have u change it at some time, do u have a spare sat box u can try on your dish and check the cable ends make sure there not shorting out,also take the sat feed out off the box and see if it boots right away.
 
I know the sat is working because im using freesat through my tv now
and yes ive left the box alone with the firmware on it that it came with
