Spotify charge

Purchased 12 months spotify through eebay and it has worked fine since last april. However i was charged 9.99 this month. Any ideas how they got my paypal address. I was advised to change login details to my own so could this be the reason why

Looks like your email was used and that maybe means the setup included using PayPal and all that's needed for that was your email but surely it takes you to PayPal for your password...you change details or you give them the details ?

This is where it gets tricky. I bought it through my eebay account and changed details to wifes for logging in to spotify. But the payment came from my paypal, different email. It was set up a pre authorised payment.
