Hi got myself a Formuler Z11 pro max was previously using shield tv.liking the box so far super fast and responsive and still getting to grips with it.
Regarding MYTVonline is there a way of starting it without it going straight on a live channel?
Also been testing the recording function that seems to work great and just wondering if can you watch a recording whilst it’s still recording?

Have a look in the settings on mol3 you maybe able to get it to load with just the user interface.
As for the watching a recording whilst recording maybe @stuss could say as he records programs and uses a z11.
I’ve just looked on my formuler cc you can select it not to load last portal so if you have a couple of subs you can choose which to load but even that way no soon as you connect it goes straight to the last channel watched

Cheers I have had a look in settings but not found anything..not saying it ain’t there I’m still learning..
Recording is great as long as you stay off live channels while recording its perfect with one connection.

Tbh I haven’t tried recording on my box you could always test it this way go to a random channel set it off recording then go into your recordings and try see if it plays whilst recording

speak to your provider, you will probably need a multi room sub to record and watch another live feed at the same time.

This is going back a while on the Z8 i had you could not start watching a recording while the recording was still active or it stopped the recording Mol3 may have changed.

50% of the time recordings would fail anyway multiroom or not.

You cannot watch and record alternate channels. Unless on the same transponder. A 2nd line would need to be purchased..

Yes I have 2 subs but I currently just schedule and then exit out and wait..
It’s the motv3 launch opening not in a live channel..Is there a way to launch motv3 into no live tv or the like?

Stupid question if you don't want to launch live tv why would you want to launch mytvonline3
Are you asking to boot straight into vod section or menu of it?

I know if you go to launcher settings you can go to customised and select one of 3 options
Last watched channel
Last vod
Last series
But don't think you can do recording

Thanks..you can record I’ve done lots to micro so card storage...so long as your out of mtvo3 and you have scheduled a recording it recorded perfect each time on single connection..

I was wondering this too. I prefer to launch MTO3 without it loading up my last channel automatically.

Also, is there an option to STOP live tv while I still scroll the settings/tv guide?
