Starview 6 Carling Firmware

Hi,

Im really new to this and trying to get a understand of starview6.

Am i correct that Starview 6 with the Carling Firmware which cable tv works on Nagra 3 providing tv channels free.

Is this all channels for freeview only.

hi,am new myself to all this but what i understand the starview 6 uses the net to obtain the channels bit like cardsharing,as the old boxes connected straight to virgin the new ones dont.hope this helps

they will in a way connect to provider to scan for channels and if you have a different bb provider lan hooks up to their address to work.only trouble is server is up and down on overload and blank screens when footy is on.same number of channels hopefully as previous boxes.if you bother to read the forum you will find a better box that works.:faint:;);)

Should the broadband provider be different from the cable provider? or does it not matter?
