Hi guys,

Was thinking of investing in the starview 6 box. A little birdy tells me I`ll be wasting my time though as I`m living in Dublin and they no longer work.

Anyone got any updates on this & is it true? I havent had a box since my starview 1 box went down last year.

mmm me thinks your right - sure ive seen on here they no longer work over there. so save ya money -( or spend it on a subscription - where at least you can ring them if it goes down lol) Ask noelyf he will know
 
I only found out these boxes are`nt working in Ireland.

Never had one, thanks be to Jaysus ;)

Driving the ladies up the wall anto lol

saw a post yesterday about the c/s going down, as bad as it makes me, i hope my brother in law bought one last week as he was talking about it (long story).
didn't like the thought of the box being connected to the internet and your isp out there for the world to see
 
totally agree Wheelo thats why i would never go down that road, if they got your isp then they KNOW what your upto.
All those that went down the c/s road - all knew it wouldnt last. Some said you might get a year lol but if you got caught you'd get more than a year in a very small room lol!
