Hi All,

Can anyone assisst me, Ive just recieved a new SV HD combo + and have followed instructions as to setup ie install grooverider 1214.uad than Carling, but Im not getting any channels, I must be doing something wrong?. Were in the BACK of BOX should I place my cable lead? Im assuming i have to plug the lead in similar to old euro vox setup.

I treid placing lead at cable in at the BACK of BOX and have scanned but still NO CHANNELS, Please help.
 
you put the cable lead in the top left hand screw it does say cable in
which carling have u put on ?
 
JCT , I havent put on Carling yet as I wanted Grooverider to be up and running before, I thought following your setup post thats what should be done? i have GR 1214uad, Carling 0712.uad. should i put carling on NOW even though Box is not working?

Hi All,

Can anyone help me with setting up this SV combo + , i cant get any channels? I have put on the new Grooverider 1214 firmware but cant get channels, channel search come back with 0 found. I have not yet put on the Carling 0712 firmware.

Have you tried a factory reset and do you have the correct frequency (Only 3 choices). Also do not setup the network until the very end, caused me problems.
 
Yes I have tried Factory reset a number of times , but still no channels / signal, my network area is 6952 and ive even tried other networrks , still no JOY!! i wont set up network at presemnt as Ive seen its caused a number of issues for pepes. Any other ideas as to proble? THX
 
Are you saying , Even though Box has scanned ZERO channels after I have put on GRider, I should NOW put on Carling file to set up Network? ur post I read said I should be able to see channels after GV update than put Carling on to box, which should I do?

I forgot, Should I have the internet plugged to SV box ONCE Carling is loaded?
 
Ive tried all the above but wanted to check if I have CURRENT software as i still have no channels.

Can anyone advice whats the LATEST FIRMWARE numbers for GRider and Carling that works with SV HD combo + box?

you dont need groove rider for this kind ov box fam, download guiness_HD+0524 UAD install it S/W + aLL Data Update, leave it 2 update nd reboot, afta dat bck to accessory enter 8989 afta dat u il c key edit go into it nd check all switch are on, exit, scroll to d nxt tab which is d Network turn it on.while doin dis,check dat d ethernet cable 4rm d modem or router is connected to d bck ov ur device, then bck on d network tab, u shud see cs net, click into it nd set to ustream, den click register, afta dat, go bck nd do ur scanning again, everyfin shud be ok by now yeh.
 
Will i find Gunniss software here under starview firmware? Ive already put Grider nad Crling both onto Box , can its still work with install Guiness new software?
 
Can anyone advise were i can find instructions to RESET BOX to orginal state and start this process again, everything ive tried is not working for the LIFE of Me I cant work out why I cant get an channels following scan? every channel changing area still comes back with ZERO!!
 
Thats a thought , is there a way of checking if Feed is live? why would feed not be Live?

jct how do i do a FULL reset to start firmware process again, ?

Ive over laped Carling file as I placed different one on first.

if you put a vm box on that u know that works even on bbc 1 try that you can cheq the voltage comming down the line dont know what that is tho ( or is cable broke)
reset well as long as you reflash the file back on box you dont need to start again
