Starview HD Combo+ login error(0)

Hi ppl, hope someone can help i've been trying to set this box and get it to connect to ustream with no joy for over a week tried plenty of methods with no joy,

i've had to restore mac on several occasions tried aload of firmware from guinness to carling but it keeps saying login is failed error code(0).
I've got it connected to internet as it recognises the i.p address changed ethernet cable even after reseting still nothing is the servers down or something or have i missed something cant figure it out might just use it as a coffee mat (a really expensive one lol).

I have the same problem i have set up three boxes for family and friends all went fine.
I got one for myself and anything i try it just says login failed error code(0).
My MAC address has never changed.
I did the sv+hd fix and flashed it to factory state loaded the dec grooverider file then the carling 1.00 file,
anytime i connect to ustream it says login failed error code(0) i have tried every availible carling firmware from the toolbar and some from dkaos,
even tried guiness and istream when i do that i get the new hd channels and thats all.
 
what the f**k just my luck end up with a duff box im going to get in touch with the supplier and see if i can swap it so you reckon its not the server then, hopefully you can get yours swapped aswell, but im thinking i've flashed it with firmware it might void the warranty i'll keep you up to date if i hear anything, been searching for days and find nothing just make sure your mac address is fine as theres a glitch with some of the carling firmware where it changes your mac to 00:0A:00:00:00 If its done the same to yours use sv+hd fix and change mac back to original can be found on the sticker on the inside of the box check through the air vents on the top. keep me up to date if you find a fix please in the meantime.
 
Just to give you a heads up i have spoken to the chap i purchased it off and he said aslong the box comes back as it was factory settings etc and in original packing he is willing to do a exchange, fair play to him will defo deal with him again, anyway as soon as i get a replacement i will let you know how i get on.
 
Thanks Amzy Ill contact the supplier in the morning, did you tell your supplier you had loaded software on it?
 
I did tell him he said it voids your warranty you should know this i sort of twisted his arm he was sort of huffin and puffin but said send it back as its original state and he will do a exchange.
 
still waiting for a replacement lads will keep you updated!! hp007 you made sure your mac address is correct yeah?
rnlmc82 how you getting on did you get a replacement sent and if so did it work??
 
login error 0

managed to get mine running, i believe the ip was set wrong, change to manual and recheck last 3 fig then save
 
thats what i thought the problem was with the i.p, but i connected straight from modem, i.p recognised as 77.103.xxx.xxx then i connected from a router, router self signed i.p as 192.168.1.3 and box reconfigured to this so i no it ain't i.p prob, i've just had my replacement but im at work till 5 so im anxious to get home and test, hopefuly it works this time i will post my results here so if anyone else runs into this problem they know what to do.
 
LMFAO I cannot believe i screwed about with the box for a week, connected straight away to ustream no messing all up and running guys may have been a dead box in the end.

Sorry i don't understand, i am new to the starview box.

When i first turned the unit on it was working fine, the next morning I was presented with the error code(0).

Could you please explain in a step by step procedure, sorry to be a pain.
