starview hd combo plus flashing

hi, im new to this forum so can someone please help?

ive just bought a starview hd combo plus box. there is a lot of info out there about grooverider and carling and it all seems a bit confusing.

what are the differences between the two softwares and can they both be run of the same box? ive read somewhere that grooverider picks up the sky channels and carling picks up the cable channels.

is GrooveRider_HD_Combo_+_1214.uad the only software i need to flash the box, or are there any other software like boot v0021 which i need to us like on the non lan box?

put grooverider 1214 & factory reset then put Carling+ 0712 (this is for cable) this is how i do it and it works!!!

ps you get very little hds chans this i think is down to the card share (ps you have to be connected to internet)

Thanks for that jct. Ive got net. My brother bought a sv hd combo+, it was already flashed with carling+. I connected the box to the sky dish and to cable & Internet. Managed to get channels working through cable but for sky it only picks up the fta channels. So flashing with grooverider should pick up the satellite channels?

yes then you need a card share and edit a few lines (this will cost unless you know a good friend)

Hey guys. Thought I'd give everyone an update. I've managed to flash my sv hd combo+. everything is working fine. Thanks to all those for their support :)
