so, being a little short of anything constructive to do tonight i thought i'd have a little google around.
in the week ending 18th june 2021 there were 8,874 total deaths in england, thats the latest data i could find.

in june 2018 - pre covid - the total deaths in england was 37,213 . with 30 days in june that makes the average of 7 days a total of 8, 683. pretty much the same as this years figures.
