Hi I'm on step

31: Go to open TV providers>>> Start Order and you should only have rytec virgin media in there green utton save


I have three in there all sly no VM all my channels are a mess but they are all there how can I fix this or can I import another EPG ?

Did you install sucmnsee's image in the end & follow the instructions i sent you on the previous thread we spoke on?

You say all your channels are there but they aren't in category order (Entertainment, Sport Etc.)?
Heres some simple & easy steps I follow:

To get your channels in order do the following:

Menu > Setup > Service Searching > AutoBouquetsMaker > Delete bouquets
Menu > Setup > Service Searching > AutoBouquetsMaker > Providers > Double check all the settings in there are correct:
Virmin uk: yes
Virmin uk area: select yours
Virmin uk fta only: no
Virmin uk generate main bouquet: yes
Virmin uk: generate sections bouquets: yes
Virmin uk generate hd bouquets: yes
Virmin uk generate fta bouquet: yes
Virmin uk generate fta hd bouquet: yes
Virmin uk swap channels: yes to replace or sd channels with the hd channels up to you

Menu > Setup > Service Searching > AutoBouquetsMaker > Start Scan


Now for your EPG do the following:

*YOU NEED A STORAGE DEVICE FOR THIS*

Menu > Setup > System > EPG > Settings > Enable Virgin EPG: yes
Menu > Setup > System > EPG > Cross EPG > Update rytec providers
Menu > Setup > System > EPG > Cross EPG > XMLTV Providers > Rytec Virgin UK XMLTV > click yellow to download *Wait for it to finish* > Click okay on Rytec Virgin UK XMLTV (Green tick should appear) then hit green to save
Menu > Setup > System > EPG > XMLTV-Importer > Press Blue for Sources > Scroll to Rytec Virgin UK XMLTV Okay *Green tick will appear* > Gress green to save
Menu > Setup > System > EPG > XMLTV-Importer > Press Yellow for Manual > then Yes

Ok thanks Burlesy, that all worked But now the next problem lol

Watching sly sports and other paid to it freezes after about 10 mins and I have to reset the box

I have 90% of the paid channels but some FTA are missing ITV +1 Pick Watch

Any advice on these thanks.
 
When you say freezes do you mean the channel glitches or the actual box freezes? are you able to click on other things like epg & menu ?

You are scanning through cable right?
I have a H1 & i dont get all the channels either, some or luckier than others. I dont get MUTV HD but others do It depends on the strength of your signal.
 
Yep the channle freezes I can still use menu epg ect ect but when I cnahge the channel say from sly sport 1 to sly sport 2 it's still the same frozen pic
 
Your using a ethernet cable as well?
Whats your bandwidth like?
Try other channels like comedy central and see if it freezes as often like ss1 does.
if the other channels dont freeze & your internet speed is good, then it seems like a poor server that cant cope with the demand because I would imagine that ss1 is being heavily used because of the utd liverpool game
 
Do you have the same line in your openbox as you do your zgemma? Or is it a different line
