Stuck on open atv scree!!

My 2s is stuck on the open atv boot screen. I have tried loading the nigtly file and it goes from flsh to boot led turns green but thats about it.

Tried with 2 branded usbs did a low level format and then a windows format. Still no luck.

Any ideas what i can do as i have tried everything possible??

Yep i am using the correct firmware sh1 checked that many times.

Il give that a go when i get home from work tonight! Am i okay to use the same usb I have a cruzer 16gb as i have already tried flashing many times has this messed my usb up? or should it still work?
 
Format the drive with bootice and try that.
Bootice deletes all partitions and boot record from the drive and creates new ones so your usb should be fine.
If that doesn't work you might need to flash a new bootloader.

How do i flash a new bootloader? Sorry but im a novice at this lol
 
Right so tried the bootloader when turning the box on i press the power button when it says usb it then turns to flash but then goes back to usb and nothing happens and this happens everytime i press the front power button?

Nope. Went from usb to flash to boot for 2 seconds and them back to usb.

I cant get anything to work on this. Need to see if theres anyone around the leicester area who can help
 
Iv tried the hddguru ones still nothing happens. Its like theres a boot problem. If i was to get a new box can i get into the menu of the box without flashing? That way i can flash it through filezilla
