supported firmware for zgemmah2s

I've had the box a few months now and its working reasonably well, I've got the openatv 5.1 as this was the only supported software at the time of purchase I've heard on the grapevine that its now supported by openvix and openpli can anybody confirm this. I don't want to install a different operating system if you cant software update safely on line.

yes you can use openvix on zgemma - Unofficially, so you wouldnt be able to update it online but every 3 months or so the maker of the openvix image releases an updated more improved version, you just have to keep your eyes peeled for it when he releases it.thats my understanding of it, (feel free to correct me)
OpenPLI I'm not sure someone would have to fill you in, seeing there is openpli zip file son the zgemma site would recommend that they do.
