Is disabling the routers firewall a good idea ? Probably not

Mines been disabled for a couple of years now, I cant see a problem with doing that if you have appropriate security on devices pc etc!
I'm on BT but seem to get a lot of scam calls from SKY technical dept!

To add to that I use Surfshark for Canada Dazn with no problems on Shield, but if the same on firestick I have to alter the location now and again for it to work

I had a problem last week, swapping from Manchester to London fixed it but it had me baffked for a while
