Tanix T6 android only recording in 2 min segmants

Hi all,
Got a bit of a problem with my TX6 4K Quad Core Android TV Box 2GB+16GB Dual 2.4G/5G WI-FI HD Media Player android box, i've got dual subscitption but when trying to record anyhing to attached hard drive it only records in 2 min sections.
Can't seem to find any extra settings on the box to rectify.
Signal is good etc..
Tried searching for info but a bit scarce
Anyone had this problem before?

Does your service provider allow recording?
You may have to have a Multiroom sub.
