NO you dont split sat feeds as each tuner needs its own sat feed.

Its a splitter that goes on the sat cable, each outcoming cable would then go into a sat tuner.
Is this not possible like it is with coaxial cable or virgin media cable?

No remember sat boxes use voltage to lnbs and would not be trying to use it or something might blow

You should only use splitters on unicable feeds.
