Technician tools and programs.


Hi all im a Repair tech i work from home doing basic repair jobs (virus removal, format-install, service , broken laptop screens, overheating so on) anyway im mainly self taught i did btecs but leant very little new and working for myself i have no mentor as such i wonder if any other techies out there would be willing to give me some ideas on tolls they use software they use etc to make life easier and even possibly other streams of work they do other than the basic stuff thanks for anyone good enough to reply :) have a lovely weekend all


Most Laptops have built-in self diagnostics now to check CPU / Mobo, Ram, Video and Hard Disk now, usually got by pressing F1 or similar at boot time. For desktop, I use and old program called Eurosoft PC Check. Rock solid app and very good at diagnosing hardware failure.
