"The Download is Not Requesting

mine has.rar and not bin..but now iam on my neighbours desktop and try to download from hitek.. loader and bin file.. i keep getting the bin one and not the loader..!
 
Ted, you need to extract the RAR file using winrar or winzip
you will then get a file ending in .BIN

Thats what you put in the loader.

Haven't you already got the loader ? that file hasn't changed.

Cant you download it ? it is in the kryptview software section

got loader and winzip but still as before..downloader not requesting..have tried a tower and the laptop so now i am totally lost..! i am willing to travel to sort out this f!£king box if it kills me..! but ireland or john o groats is a bit too far..!! or send it to someone to sort it..! whatever it takes boys and girls..!

how about box to box 9pin to 9pin.. is that possible and if so how do i do it ?.. there is a data transfer on installation and s/w update or does it have to be flashing that i dont seem to be able to get to work. i have obtained a flashed box that is up and running

You seem to be going round in circles now, so lets get back to basics.

"Download not requested" is a cable or com port issue.
it basically means the box doesnt see the computer.

So give us some feedback and we will try and get you up and running.

First, have you extracted the RAR file and are you putting Kryptview_A780_12042012.bin into the loader ?
(It shouldn't matter which bin file it uses it should still transfer the data,
but the box might not work properly) so you may as well use the right one.

Next, do you know which com port the null modem cable is attached to
on your computer ?

Does the com port number on the loader program match, the one on your computer ?

Power off box by switch at the back, give it a minute to make sure properly powered down, start loader, power on box by the switch at the back.(some people say straight away some say give it a second or two)

If its still not working try a different null modem cable.

Post back some info a we can then try to pin point the problem.👍

Hi bees, i just posted a help topic to Ted on his other thread. Did not see this post and so did not mean to step on your toes buddy. I will keep an eye on both threads so as we can work together mate.

Hello everyone.. i would like to say sorry for wasting all your precious time in helping me out.. 1.i had a R232 lead and not a null modem..! and 2. bin file when trying to load kept going awol to winzip.. with the help of bees,ckid and most of all jodav who put me straight over the dog and bone..! so thanks to you all and all others who have kept me sane..!
