The PSP E-1000's specs

Last week, Sony Europe announced the launch of a new PSP, dubbed the E-1000, which will sell for just €99.

Additionally, the company said it will relaunch some UMD titles like FIFA 12 and Invizimals as "PSP Essentials" for just €9.99.

Today, the company has released all the specs for the new device, which strips Wi-Fi (among other features) in order to save on costs.

Spec list (via GR):

LCD screen: 4.3 inches / 10.9 cm (16:9) full-transparent type, TFT drive. Approximately 16,770,000 colours displayed.
Sound: Monaural speaker.
Internal disc drive: Read-only Universal Media Disc drive.

E1000 or how is now called by PSPGen PSP Cheap was announced at GamesCom a few days ago . The console was playable for the show so few guys that call themselves hackers go and tried running a signed homebrew on it. It ran in no time. Additionally we find out that the console runs 6.50 OFW.
It realy looks like Sony is not going to bother fighting the hackers anymore,instead sell the hardware cheap
