Thinking of buying solo2/ Duo2

My current box is attached to a Nas for recording etc, would there be any point buying any of the 2 in the thread title with a hdd installed, or save some money and carry on using my Nas.
Would the performance be any better with a hdd for storage / playback etc?

solo 2 as fixed twin sat tuners

duo 2 as plug and play tuners
i would go for duo 2 as you can add a cable tuner as well as a sat tuner

I'm not sure if that would be over kill tho, I've only 2 feeds anyway, not to bothered about anymore, but the flash and ram does appeal tho.
