No not the last day of the January transfer window, even though it is.
Also not the day that cases of coronavirus has been confirmed in uk, even though it has.
It's the day we leave Europe.
11pm tonight were out, gone, a dot on the horizon.
I was here when we joined 47 years ago, not much changed.
Not much will change when we leave.
My nephew asked me about Europe for his school project, wanted to know about the 47 years we were in europe,
The only thing I could think of was 'it pi $$ed it down the first week'

You've got to laugh when Gov adverts on telly saying "be ready for Jan 1st" aimed at businesses....bosses have been asking what they need to do for the past four years and had to wait until boxing day before finding out.
Five days to go and two of em are bank holidays, I think that's more than enough preparation time for millions of businesses to organise billions of imports/exports, can't forsee any hitches at all
