Transfer of HDD to one zgemma to another

Hi just bought a H5.2S and I want to transfer the HDD from my H.2S which I am selling.. is there an easy way? Backup the image and then load onto h.2s? Will that work from h.2s to h5.2s?

What image are you using?

just unplug the usb HDD from h.2s and plug it into the H5.2s
you cannot use a h.2s image on a h5.2s or vica versa

Using Wooshbuild. So if I just connect my hard drive into the h5.2s, it will just work and the recordings will still be there?

Yes make sure both boxes are switched off and then swap drives.
Power up with the new drive and check Menu > InfoPanel > Plugins > Mount Manager

Make sure the new drive is mounted as /media/hdd and is Ext4 R/W

the v5 image is supported on both boxes so shouldn't be an issue there
