unable to connect to streaming server on Sky Broadband

Hi,

I have sky broadband and a sub to an IPTV provider and all working great! My neighbour wanted the same so I sorted him on a trial all great then as soon as he paid for the sub it stopped working? It is a connection issue to the server address. His sky shield is off we both have sky broadband, we both have the same IPTV provider/server. I can connect to the web site and watch channels, he cant, I can ping the server and get a response, he cant? any idea what could be wrong with his broadband? If I connect his TV or laptop to my phone hotspot they both work so it is definitely sky!

it is not just the TV, it is mobile phone, Laptop anything connected to his Sky broadband, it all works perfectly on all devices when on a hotspot on my phone or on my broadband just not his!

We both have sky broadband, same IPTV server so I just don't get it!
 
And does he get new IP or not?

You sure he successfully removed the sky shield? Check again just to ensure?

just rebooted another 3 times and IP is static :-( I have messaged provider again to check for IP ban. Sky Shield is definitely turned off, it says so in the settings and I tested it by going to pornhub and youporn

Sky needs approx 1 hour to renew the IP address. I have had this issue before. You need to switch off the router, wait at least 1 hour, then start it back up. that should give a new IP address
