Hi. H.2S running OpenATV 6.4 . Whooshbuild infinity 10.000

I put a NVMe m.2 drive in an enclosure to replace my existing USB SSD. If I plug in the enclosure then it gets detected. /var/log/messages shows

however if I restart the zgemma box, on boot the drive is not detected at all. No power goes to the drive. No mention or errors in the /var/log/messages file.

blkid shows no entry for it following a restart.

any ideas or should i concede defeat and keep using my old USB SSD that works fine?

As said wont work if box has not set it up and might be fat 32 which is not correct for recordings.

Its an NVMe m.2 even some PCs will not recognise them without being initialised. could also be driver problem.

just tried

MENU -> Setup -> System -> Storage Devices -> Initialisation. Initialised the drive.

Full Restart.

Checked Mount Manager - drive not shown.

checking /etc/fstab there is no entry for the drive. Do I manually have to add this or is there a way to automatically get the fstab entry?

thanks
