USB power

Hi all, been looking at Zgemma boxes for a while and quite fancy the H92S. Just a quick question about USB power. The USB port n the back of this box doesn't say "5v 0.5a" on it like a lot of other boxes, does this mean it wont run and external un powered 2.5" hard drive, only a USB stick?

Hi shanea 1967, I have two hard drives running out of mine just powered by the box. A WD 2tb & a 2.5" 350gb laptop hard drive in a caddy.

I would advise if doing many recording a desktop externally powered hdd as i use 2 tb if box cant use internal hdd.Others can use a powered usb hub as less strain on the usb port for passport hdd.
