Hi Guys
I am thinking of getting a VPN router for the 1st time because my Ist Gen firestick & Apple tv box doesnt support VPN .

You connect the router to your existing Router (Virgin) and is that it do i need a subscription of the Router Manufacturer as my VPN, already got my own VPN sub can i use it on that
basically am asking is it as simple as ABC

Regards

my speed when connected to vpn is something like 8mbps and when its off it is 80mbps any ideas why it so slow and if i got a vpn router can i plug that into my virgin router and then to the device

You can get routers already pre configured with a VPN. Just plug into the back of your vm router and you have two networks to choose from. I went for this option and am reasonably pleased with the results. My VPN provider also has free apps if you are already a subscriber, tried one on my fire TV box then removed it and am just using the router now as the app seemed to make things run slow.
