Using client mode and bad epg

Previously had my Gigaquad and using Client mode on Vu Zero and epg was always bad.

Box changed to Et 8000 with current image 6.3 and Vu Zero on same.
Still have crappy epg import on the Vu Zero and has the epg to update every 6 hours.
Sometimes viewing channel i get dropout sound thinking Lan might be an issue ?
Thoughts?

On the zero is supposed to download channel lists and epg to box every 6 hours in settings.

Does the box need the epg saved to anywhere as I never asked in all the years on using it.

Have to see where my lost sat feed is.
